Some medication questions can be easily answered in a quick phone call. But other times, we might need to dig a little deeper. More complex cases that involve a full review of your medications, supplements, and past medical history deserve our extra time and attention to ensure that we thoroughly understand your case and can come up with the best solution, in partnership with your provider.

Important Information for BHRT Patients

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is a customized treatment that may help restore your natural hormone balance. Because this treatment is tailored to each individual’s needs, you will need to complete a consultation with our pharmacist prior to beginning treatment.

Complete the confidential evaluation form and return it to the pharmacy. The pharmacist will review the information, then contact the patient to set up a consult time.

Please allow the pharmacist at least 48 hours to review any evaluation forms and labs. Consultations can be done in person at the pharmacy, online via Skype/Zoom, or via phone for those not able to come to Kearney.

During the consultation, the pharmacist will review the evaluation form with the patient, talk about goals and expectations for their treatment, answer any questions the patient might have, and review treatment options.

The pharmacist will then send info, any pertinent labs, and recommendations to the patient’s provider of choice for review.

The patient, provider and pharmacist work together as a team in order to come up with the best treatment plan possible.
